A modular Rifle Plates Carrier is ideal for:

• Add-on Rifle Plate Pockets if your vest doesn't have Rifle Plate Pockets.
  
  
• Best solution for a quick throw-on, if you are wearing your concealable vest most of the time, but not typically wearing Rifle Plates (e.g., on patrol but then facing an active shooter situation).
  
  
• Stand-Alone Rifle Plates wear, where the added bulk of Level III-A soft Body Armor is not desired, and the threat is primarily direct rifle fire and not pistol or Fragmentation threats
  
  
• Velcro and/or Fastex Buckle Quick-release fastening system is standard so you can throw it on in a hurry or pull it off fast as needed. If you are wearing your vest all the time, but Rifle Plates only part of the time, a Plate Carrier is the most convenient solution.  Conversely, Rifle Plate Pockets, built-in to the vest, are more convenient to allow you to put on the vest and Rifle Plates all in one motion - but pulling plates out and leaving the vest on is less convenient than a modular Plate Carrier.
